Kristen Carcone is a Toronto-born director & choreographer.
Recent projects: co-choreographer & associate director of Life and Trust (produced by Emursive of Sleep No More); associate choreographer and associate director of the Tony Award-winning musical The Outsiders (produced by The Araca Group and Angelina Jolie); associate choreographer of the Broadway revival of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years with Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren; and associate director of NYCC Encores! 2025 production of Urinetown featuring Jordan Fisher and Rainn Wilson.
Other roles: associate choreographer of Cyrano with Peter Dinklage and Jasmine Cephas Jones (New Group) and developmental work on MCC’s Alice by Heart (which received Lortel and Chita Rivera Awards for Outstanding Choreography).
Kristen’s original direction & choreography can be seen in Tate McRae’s dance film seven, on board MSC Cruise Lines, and in her original evening-length works 4-7-8 (Toronto Arts Council) and Dinner is Served (Ontario Arts Council & Canada Council for the Arts).
Kristen co-founded and served as co-artistic director of TOES FOR DANCE for more than a decade. She was a company member of Third Rail Projects, performing as “Alice” for many years in their Bessie Award-winning production Then She Fell. She graduated with highest honors from New World School of the Arts.
